Car history: |
First year of the C3 and as with most classic Corvettes, they appreciate in value every year. This is a very nice driver quality example that runs and looks great that you won't be afraid to drive. Driving a classic is what it's all about any way! Numbers matching 327 rebuilt by previous owner in 2009 with receipts. Less than 5,000 miles on it. Generally, Corvettes are more valuable with their original motor and this one has it. Howards Cam and roller lifters. Edelbrock intake and carb. Finned valve covers and HEI distributor. Rebuilt Turbo 400 trans and suspension in 2006 with receipts. Lots of other work done by previous owner with receipts including the complete brake system, headlight and wiper system. New 3 chamber Flowmaster exhaust with Headman ceramic coated headers. Base/clear paint in 2014 with correct Corvette Bronze with a little extra metallic added. The color really pops in the sun! Car was stripped of all old paint before re painting. Pretty rare color. Subtle pinstriped design on front nose and rear of car. Front and rear bumpers re chromed New leather seat covers and seat foam New carpets and door panels 17 inch Retro wheels and new tires All gauges work This is a factory air conditioned car with power windows, steering and brakes. Air has been upgraded to a Sanden compressor and switched to 134 freon. I hold clear title in my name. As far as I know, this has always been a California car and there is no rust or frame damage. I have owned it for almost five years. I can provide a short 30 second walk around video if you want to hear it running or can take any additional photos you may require. I do not have door lock keys. A locksmith can re key them. Dash bezel around center air duct is broken (replacements are out there) Carb is a manual choke version. Choke is not hooked up. Car needs a bit of a warm up before driving. Ended at $14,800 (RnM) on June 19, 2016. Ended at $16,200 (RnM) on June 28, 2016. |
